The Black Eagle is a historic address.
Established in 1802 the restaurant, was located directly on the border of Prussia (county Moers) in the Electorate of Cologne.
The stagecoaches stopped at the Adler, later the tram from Moers to Düsseldorf stopped at the door.
The hotel was built in 1956, and in 1989 the capacity was increased to 400 seats.
Located in the heart of the beautiful district of Moers-Schwafheim, with excellent connections to the Moerser Kreuz (A40 & A57) and the Messe Düsseldorf, the Hotel Schwarzer Adler offers ample parking space for all your needs.
The center of Moers cab be reached by car in 5 minutes, also with public transport (bus stop right outside the door) it takes only 10 minutes to the historic Moers center with numerous shops and an extensive cultural offer.
The hotel has 22 single rooms and 16 double rooms in various categories. All rooms were newly renovated in 2018 and include the following amenities:
